Saltbush Livestock Pty Ltd is based in Port Augusta in Northern SA alongside the Flinders Ranges. Our unique pastoral grazing conditions, breed selection and five generations of experience ensure we produce the highest quality Dorper lambs. Our business is fully integrated from stud stock, to lamb breeding and then supplying leading butchers and chefs in Australia and around the world.
Saltbush White Dorper Stud produces rams acclimatised to pastoral grazing, and bred with the knowledge of what is required to breed premium lamb carcasses to domestic and export markets. We are continually evaluating and improving our bloodline while keeping out front on structural soundness and shedding.
Our commercial lamb producing flock is run on pastoral country in Northern SA, supplemented by like-minded producers in pastoral country in South Australia and New South Wales. Saltbush Dorpers are run using leading animal welfare practices in some of the cleanest grazing country in the world.
Bultarra Australian Saltbush Lamb is a combination of all that we do, and is one of the most unique lamb products sold to the most exclusive butchers and restaurants. The consistency and texture of Dorper lamb is complimented by the sweet taste of the saltbush that they graze on. This combination produces its unique flavour that is highly sought after.
